Backpack Drive

We are excited to announce that we are starting a Backpack Drive to bless the students of the Penn Hills School District as they prepare for the new school year!

From now until August 10, we are collecting backpacks and school supplies that will be distributed to local students in need. Your generosity can make a huge difference and help every child start the year equipped and confident.

Here’s what we need:

  • Drawstring bag for middle/high school students OR backpack for elementary school students

  • 1" binders

  • 1 subject notebooks

  • #2 pencils w/ erasers

  • Zippered pencil cases

  • Highlighters

  • Pocket folders

  • Glue sticks

If you are unable to shop but would still like to participate, you can give $20, and our deacons will purchase a backpack and supplies on your behalf. Simply mark your gift as Backpack Drive when giving.

Please drop off your donations at Unity Community Church during regular office hours or on Sunday mornings in the bins in the lobby.

Let’s come together as a church family to show Christ’s love to the students and families in our community!  Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
